This was another shot taken on the second day of shooting. It was edited by the person who took the shot. The gun in this picture is a real rifle. Also I am wearing a real Nazi badge.
This is a very bold and deep work- love the colours, framing and overall this is AWESOME! Colours- The colours match well, the grey-tones and the brown blood-like red suit each other perfectly. I To me, I think the chosen red colour represents the slaughter and bloodshed of the Jews really well. I like how this contrasts with the grey of the Nazi Soldier. Framing- I think this photograph is framed quite well, as the center of attention is right in the middle with the red all around. The pinkish frame matches quite well with the reds. However, I think that the gap between the frame and the hat should have been larger because it is almost touching, and I think it just makes it a tiny bit "dodgy". But this is only a tiny problem on a wonderful photograph. Lighting- The shadows and highlights work perfectly- with the almost black and almost white tones. I love the highlights and low-lights of the uniform (especially the creases on the arm, the buttons, an the badges). Other- His stance is strong and firm- of course, much like a Nazi's, suiting this bold image. Love the uniform, rifle and badges- awesome photo!
I think this piece is fabulous. The colours correspond well with the other, and there is no clash in colours. Your expression fits the picture nicely, and your pose is almost that of a statue, which I feel is very impressive since it's hard for a lot of people to stay still. I like how the background is colour, but you are not. It makes the picture have a certain 'zazz' to it that you wouldn't find in a lot of pictures elsewhere.
You're work is simply stunning, as is this piece. This is probably my favourite piece by you.
This is actually really good, the black and white pictured contrasting with the burgundy back ground gives it a sharp hint to it. Almost make it look like someone took a picture and sowed it to some cloth actually. Hmmm.... to me it looks well though out before put into a colorful mix. Almost like a blast from the past, or the present day being mixed with the past on a whole other level.
I'ma write a Critique since i can't do the other ones
------- I like how it looks like a real historical photo, it looks like somthing you would see in a poster in that time period. your facial expression is spot on, the way your facing and the way the light is reflecting really makes it look realistic.
the outer lining though on the outside sorta subtracts from the effects, it makes it look like somthing from modern day ....
if your goal was too make it look OLD, then i'd rate it a 4...your picture is good, but it seems rather smoothe and perfect for a picture that was taken so long ago, if you had added wrinkle texture or somthing related too that then it would have totally been a 5.
In all this was an AMAZING shot, and it didn't cease to amaze me! hope this was ok...it was my first Critique
